Kambrokind Guesthouse is named after the plant, Kambro, which is a very tough Karoo veld food sort of similar to a potato. It can be eaten and also makes a very nice jam (if you have the knowledge to make it). There are six en-suite rooms at Kambrokind, of which on is a self-catering unit. To make your stay even more enjoyable, they have a sheltered outside braai (BBQ) available to all guests, called “Die Tolhuis”, which is equipped with microwave, DSTV, cutlery and crockery.
Five secure carports are available.
Every room is en-suite with ample blankets, electric warm blankets, electric oil heater, spare blankets, duvet, heater in the bathroom, DSTV is available in the lounge, a comfortable area with fireplace. Internet and fax facilities are available. We are licensed to sell wine and beer.
A coffee shop (Halley says come and eat), “Halley-sê-kom-eet” is run from the same premises and is open Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 to 17h00, Saturdays from 08h00 to 13h00. Closed on Sundays.
