Kraairivier

Kraairivier is a self-catering home, with three bedrooms.

Please note, this accommodation is only available from the beginning of June to the end of September (Winter months).

The bedrooms consist of two double bedrooms and the third room has four single beds.
The rest of the house has a lounge, a kitchen with an inside-braa/fireplace, a bathroom and toilet. The house has a lock-up garage and outside is a ‘bossieskerm’, a karoo lapa ideal for an outside braai.
There is warm water, as a traditional donkey is used (fire is lit in a built structure called a donkey outside, which heats up the water), assistance is offered with the donkey.

There is no electricity, but the kitchen is equipped with a gas-stove and oven, a gas refrigerator. Meals can be requested in advance.
Fire-wood is sold on the farm.

Other activities:

Enjoy the beautiful setting of a working Karoo farm. There is a hiking trail, a picnic spot and a beautiful starry night sky!

• Rate: Rates: R100 per person, per night. Breakfast at R30 (on request) and hearty Karoo meal, R50 per person. Wood is sold at R1/kg.
