Sutherland Guest House is situated opposite the Louw-House Museum in one of the oldest streets in Sutherland, Jubilee Street. The Guest House is a quaint Karoo-style stone building, ensuring a relaxed and homely atmosphere, with a long passage and a communal living room with a fireplace. The house has a big, old-fashioned stoep, from where visitors can ejoy the beautiful sunsets in Sutherland!
In total the house offers four rooms:
- One room is en-suite with a full bathroom (bath and shower)
- The second room has a double bed with a bathroom
- The third room has a double bed, a bathroom and two single beds (bunk-beds)
- The house also offers a self-catering unit adjacent to the room above, which makes it ideal for a family of six.
The self-catering unit has a lounge area with a TV and kitchenette. Microwave, fridge and two plate stove are also provided.
All rooms have electrical blankets and heaters
- Rate: The rates are as follows: - R180 per person sharing (bed only) - R200 per person sharing (bed and breakfast) *Please note in season rates are not reflected in the above rates (winter months: May, June, July and August).
