The Jupiter was established in 2002 on historic Jubilee Street. This street was the obvious choice, as the oldest houses are situated here, including the Louwhuis museum, which belonged to the family of the Afrikaans poet and writer NP van Wyk Louw.
The Jupiter Restaurant boasts a full a la carte menu, specialising in authentic Karoo lamb dishes, to be enjoyed in front of a warm fireplace with great wines from the Route 62 wine estates.
We offer a full bar where major South African sporting events can be enjoyed on a big-screen TV.
We offer comfy, clean, snug accommodation, out of the winter cold when temperatures hit record lows like minus 16 degrees.
Breakfast is optional and is served at the restaurant. Outrides and a shuttle service are available on request.
Come to the Jupiter, where friendships are formed!
