The Velvet Olive is situated in one of the original streets of Sutherland, Jubilee Street. This beautiful old home offers the luxury of personalized percale linen, down duvets and pillows, His & Hers robes, Persian rugs and chandeliers.
The main house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge with a fireplace, kitchen / dining room with wood stove, separate kitchen with outdoor braai, electric stove, microwave and fridge as well as a sun room (with bed ). The house is fully equipped for self-catering.
This home is ideal for a family or a group of friends wanting to experience the tranquillity of Sutherland in a rustic, but luxurious accommodation.

Directions
Coming along the N1 from Cape Town, take the R354 from Meitjiesfontein inland to Southerland. Once into Southerland at the first fourway stop turn right into Kerk St and then first left into Jubilee St.
The Velvet Olive will be the second house on the right.
