Tulip-growing may soon return to Sutherland

A local couple have tentative plans to revive Sutherland’s defunct tulip-growing industry. Although the bulb plant is exogenous to the area it is highly adaptable to Sutherland, thanks to the cold winter climate, and tulips were once grown here extensively.  Read more
