Fun and games in the Church Hall

Fun and games in the Church Hall

On Friday, I heard rumours that something was going on at the Church Hall. Not a hundred percent sure what exactly it was, I decided to go and have a look.
The closed church hall doors looked solemn and I was wondering whether it wasn’t merely a rumour. But the cars parked outside told me otherwise, and I decided to use the side-door entrance, just in case this was a private function

I slowly opened the door and peeked in and found tables set with coffee and tea and a scurry in the kitchen (this is the side section next to the church hall). I then entered the hall itself and found a completely different picture to what I expected! Old and young, throwing around bean bags, rings and balls! This was the Johenco Spele (games), fun and games in the Church Hall!
This event takes place annually with the aim of raising funds for our Johenco Old Age Home. Several teams may enter and prizes are to be won at the end of the day. This is a real fun event, and you need to be full of sports to join!

I captured a few photos of the different teams. Perhaps next year you should join me and even enter your family as a team? I am certainly game!
