Kambrokind Guesthouse is named after the plant, Kambro, which is a very tough Karoo veld food sort of similar to a potato. It can be eaten and also makes a very nice jam (if you have the knowledge to make it).
There are six en-suite rooms at Kambrokind, of which one is a self-catering unit.
To make your stay even more enjoyable, they have a sheltered outside braai (BBQ) available to all guests, called “Die Tolhuis”, which is equipped cutlery and crockery. Please bring your own wood. Five secure carports are available. Every room is en-suite with ample blankets, electric warm blankets, wall heating panel, spare blankets, duvets.
Selected DSTV is available in bedrooms. The lounge is a comfortable area with a warm fireplace for those cold winter night in Sutherland.
Wi-fi is available.
